In its ongoing commitment to the nation’s infrastructure, the CSCE has selected "Leadership in Sustainable Infrastructure" as the theme of this year’s conference. This year’s conference will include the inaugural First Nations Infrastructure Speaker Series to bring together First Nations community leaders, industry professionals and civil engineers. The First Nations Infrastructure Speaker Series will provide presentations on engaging in meaningful consultation and the infrastructure needs of First Nations communities. First Nations community leaders, industry experts and government officials will be invited to present material and lead discussions on the social and environmental challenges technical professionals must understand to be effective in the improvement of First Nation infrastructure in Canada. This year’s special keynote will be delivered by Kim Baird, a celebrated First Nations leader in Canada.
