The award sponsored by CANAM will recognize outstanding innovations in any discipline of Civil Engineering. The defining criterion will be the innovation application of an idea in practice that has had a significant and far-ranging beneficial impact on the prosperity and well-being of society.

EXCELLENCE IN INNOVATION IN CIVIL ENGINEERING AWARD
Recognizes excellence in innovation in civil engineering by an individual or a group of individuals practicing civil engineering in Canada, or a Canadian engineering firm, or a Canadian research organization. The Award is sponsored by Canam Group.
The Excellence in Innovation in Civil Engineering Award for the year 2014 is granted to
Halifax Water (Halifax Regional Water Commission) for their summary of work entitled “Advanced Pressure Management Utilizing Automated PRV Control in a Dual Supply DMA”.
