The<br \/>\ncommittee has been revived with the appointment<br \/>\nof a new Chair, Dr Pouya Zangeneh. The Chair has<br \/>\nbeen asked to finalize the list of executive members<br \/>\nwho will help steer the Committee&#8217;s activities.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Objectives&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;objectives-committee&#8221;][vc_column_text]\n<ul>\n<li>One of the key goals of the Committee is to establish<br \/>\nan online course focused on addressing pressing<br \/>\nissues in engineering management. The lecture<br \/>\nseries will provide a platform for experts in the field<br \/>\nto share their knowledge and experiences on a range<br \/>\nof topics, including climate change adaptation,<br \/>\nproject management, risk assessment, sustainability,<br \/>\nand ethics. The Committee hopes that the courses<br \/>\nwill serve as a valuable resource for engineers,<br \/>\nengineering students, and other professionals<br \/>\nlooking to expand their knowledge and stay up to<br \/>\ndate with current industry trends.<\/li>\n<li>Another initiative being planned by the Committee is<br \/>\nan industrial\u2010focused specialty conference, to be<br \/>\nheld next year in conjunction with the Niagara 2024<br \/>\nconference. The specialty conference will provide a<br \/>\nplatform for engineers, industry leaders, and<br \/>\nresearchers to come together and discuss emerging<br \/>\ntrends, best practices, and innovative solutions in<br \/>\nengineering management. The committee hopes<br \/>\nthat the conference will foster collaboration and<br \/>\nknowledge\u2010sharing among industry stakeholders,<br \/>\nand ultimately drive innovation and progress in the<br \/>\nfield of engineering management.<\/li>\n<li>Overall, the Technical Committee of Engineering<br \/>\nManagement is poised to make significant strides in<br \/>\nadvancing the field of engineering management<br \/>\nthrough a range of innovative initiatives.
